Former Chargers - Nathan Harriel - Paris Bound

Nathan Harrel, a Chargers alumni will kick off his US Men's Olympic Team debut tomorrow, Wednesday, July 24 at 3pm.

Nathan is a pure homegrown Clearwater Charger who began his soccer career in 2007 as a recreational player at the age of 6. Nathan continued to move up and develop within the Chargers SC coached by many of the same coaches we have today (Sergio, Marco, Ray, Sam, & Roberto). Nathan moved from rec to competitive teams and up to the DA league (today known as MLS Next) through his high school senior year. Nathan also played HS soccer at East Lake High School.

From HS Nathan moved to the Philadelphia Union Academy U18/19 team. Then Nathan signed his first professional contract as a defensive player for the MLS Philadelphia Union in 2020.

Nathan continues to play professionally with the MLS Philadelphia Union.

Tune in and watch the US men's national Olympic team take on their first opponent, France, Wednesday afternoon. Good luck Nathan. We are proud of you and cheering for you all the way!
