Black Watch Alum Represents USA as Player and Coach
Chargers SC Development Academy coach Blake Wagner continues to represent US Soccer at the highest level. Blake is a part of the US U-15 National Team Staff, that will be holding its 3rd National Team camp of the 2016-2017 Season, starting today in California. This is Blake’s 2nd camp as part of the National Team staff.
As a Chargers SC-Black Watch youth player, Blake represented US National Teams at every level from 14-23s. Blake represented the US U-17s in the inaugural year of the Nike Friendlies, starting against powerhouses such as Brazil. Blake continued to further his career as an MLS, USL, NASL and US International Player.
After Retiring from the game as a player last year, Blake came on board as the Chargers DA 2003s Head Coach. His knowledge, expertise and teaching style have been extremely valuable to the players and Chargers organization.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities with the Chargers DA, Blake also coaches with and works on the US U-17 National Team Staff; Assisting with training on a daily basis with the US Residency Program in Bradenton, FL.
