U18 Academy Players Make Commitments

CLEARWATER, Fla. - A pair of U18 Chargers SC USSF Development Academy standouts have made verbal college commitments for the 2014 NCAA season. Both will make it official when they put pen to paper on National Signing Day in February.

Logan Jones, a senior at Wiregrass Ranch High School, has chosen to continue his playing career with The College of William & Mary in Virginia. William and Mary is located in hstoric Williamsburg, Virginia and has a rich tradition in the Colonial Athletic League.

Berkeley Prep senior Daniel Felman has announced his decision to attend and play for Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. Lafayette is part of the Patriot League and faces traditional powers such as Boston College and American University.

The Chargers SC U16 and U18 Academy teams open their season on September 7 when they travel to face Charlotte Soccer Academy.
