The grass is clipped. The lines are being drawn. Spring is here, and the roar of the crowds are returning to Tampa Bay. Your Tampa Bay Rowdies will be returning to a newly renovated Al Lang Stadium in Downtown St. Pete on Saturday, April 11 as we kick off our season against U.S. National Team Member, Miguel Ibarra and Minnesota United FC at 7:30 pm. Following the match we will allow fans down on the field for a post-game fireworks show and concert by the Black Honkey’s. CLICK HERE and use promo code “Chargers15” to purchase discounted tickets.
As a partner of the Rowdies, we want very much for you to continue to be a part of the club as we begin a new era of soccer in Tampa Bay. Al Lang Stadium has undergone significant changes and all are designed to enhance the fan experience. The pitch itself has been expanded and now measures 115x75. A new video board has replaced the old baseball scoreboard and is customized for soccer. New yellow and green seats throughout the lower bowl. All vestiges of the old baseball stadium have disappeared. In short, Al Lang will be one of the best soccer stadiums in the country by the time we are finished. The facade of the stadium entrance features new colorful graphics depicting soccer plays and is wrapped in green and yellow. We have also built new ticket windows and a new team store for the sale of licensed merchandise.
